About us

Our family-owned company Alcone was founded in 1952 to provide professional makeup to the stage and film industry. In 2015, we launched LimeLife by Alcone to bring to consumers Alcone’s best-of-best professional cosmetics, through online and direct-selling channels. Our ambition is to help women everywhere look their best every day with our all natural skincare line and personalized makeup.

The brand is seven years in and already 8-digit in sales. We partnered 4 years ago with L’Occitane en Provence to take our huge success worldwide. We are looking for a talented and seasoned manager to set up our next step marketing department. 

The Role

We are looking for an experienced, talented, conceptual though strong hands-on marketing expert, who is seeking his/her next challenge in our fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment. As the head of our marketing team, you will be applying your vision, your ground experience, your analytical skills, and your management talent to become a highly valued, cross-functional business partner and make our North American and international growth happen. 

You will formalize and lead the strategic vision of the LimeLife brand,

You will oversee all our brand and sales communications,

You will be in charge accordingly of the pricing and promotion strategy,

You will setup the yearly marketing plan,

You will lead, develop, and motivate our marketing team team. The team is to grow in the coming months under your responsibility,

You will report to the founders of the company (Michele and Madison),

You will play an active role at board level discussions as a key contributor, and particularly give visibility and bring solutions,

You will be part of the C-level management team and will contribute to our overall company strategy.

The mission and key tasks

Your mission is to deliver an ambitious and consistent marketing and branding strategy and its execution to generate growth and profitability.

  • Brand vision, values, targets and pricing, from their definition to the review of all brand and all BG and consumer-facing communications, with full oversight of the graphic and design team,
  • Brand communication strategy, and more specifically you will lead the development and execution of the marketing calendar and of all marketing campaigns,
  • Content creation for online and off-line communication and sales channels, 
  • Organize all Pricing and promotions efforts and deployment, across channels,
  • Manage your budgets, rigorously analyze ROI and suggest variations from initial budget plans according to real time results,
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and market conditions to identify opportunities, issues, and risks in order to recommend strategies and tactics for current and future marketing operations,
  • Provide business analysis, measurement and reporting to assess effectiveness of marketing campaigns and activities, 
  • Provide marketing support to Emerging markets,
  • Assist and be involved in the NPD process.

  • Excellent judgment. Creative problem solver and negotiator,
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, in order to lead the multiple teams reporting into this role
  • Inspiring, authentic and transparent leadership with strong emotional intelligence. Effective recruiter, coach and developer of high-performing teams,
  • Ability to develop trusting relations locally and with the Central team. Influence, build consensus, and achieve results being a strong team player,
  • Strong ethics and values with a high degree of integrity.

Physical and travel requirements

  • Must be able to work in hybrid office/remote model
  • Must be able to work up to 8+ hours per day and be on his/her feet for extended amounts of time,
  • Must be able to travel via airplane nationally and internationally as needed.

  • 15+ years of experience required in relevant beauty, lifestyle or FMCG marketing function,
  • 10+ years of experience in managing a brand including commercial activities, visual merchandising, content management, experiential marketing and marketing campaigns,
  • 7+ years of experience in a Leadership Role in a business of $100M+ sales minimum,
  • 5+ years of International and complex environment experience a plus,
  • Must have North America (US and or Canada) experience,
  • Social Selling experience preferred but not required.
