Job Title: Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) – 1099 Subcontractor (Salem, WI)

About Us: Matrix Massage & Bodywork (part of Matrix Wellness & Biotech) is a growing wellness clinic in Salem, Wisconsin. We serve clients throughout Kenosha County (including Salem Lakes, Paddock Lake, and nearby areas) with therapeutic massage, red light therapy, lymphatic drainage, and more. We are expanding and looking for a Licensed Massage Therapist to join our team as an independent contractor. This role offers a flexible schedule in a supportive, upscale wellness environment – an ideal opportunity for an LMT seeking greater autonomy and earning potential in Southeastern Wisconsin.

You’ll enjoy a collegial atmosphere, professional linens and supplies, and a reception area to welcome your clients (we strive to make both therapists and clients feel at home).
• Growth Opportunities: As Matrix Wellness & Biotech expands, additional opportunities (advanced trainings, additional modalities, leadership roles) may become available. We are committed to helping our contractors grow their skills and client base.
• Position Details: This is an independent contractor (1099) position for a Wisconsin-licensed Massage Therapist. We welcome both experienced LMTs and motivated new graduates. You will provide therapeutic massage and bodywork services to your own clients and new clients referred by Matrix. Schedule is flexible – you control when you work, with clinic access 7 days a week. We handle appointment intake through our booking system (and you can also book your existing clients). All billing is done through our system; you receive payments based on your commission split, with details negotiated individually (our goal is a win-win earning arrangement – considerably higher take-home than spa employment).

Requirements

Requirements:

• Active Wisconsin Massage Therapy License in good standing (LMT).
• Professional Liability Insurance (we can assist if you are a new grad).
• Strong skills in therapeutic massage modalities (e.g. Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage; additional skills like prenatal, lymphatic drainage, cupping, etc. are a plus).
• A passion for health and wellness, and a client-centered mindset. You should be reliable, professional, and ready to build lasting client relationships.
• Ability to work independently as a subcontractor – managing your schedule and maintaining SOAP notes for your clients.
• Willingness to collaborate with our team and uphold the high standards of the Matrix brand (e.g. maintaining a clean workspace, following clinic policies, etc.).
