Position Summary:

Love Wellness is looking for a Sales Manager to help grow Love Wellness’ wholesale business.  This role will be responsible for supporting key retail accounts and managing emerging retail channels.  In addition, they will assist in new account and channel business development. Lastly, they will work hand-in-hand with supply chain, marketing, finance and product development to ensure the sales targets are achieved.  This role reports to the VP of Sales & Planning.

Key Responsibilities:

Support VP of Sales and Planning in managing key accounts

  • Assist in line review deck development bi-annually for each key partner
  • Management of all deadlines to ensure all items are tracking accordingly 
  • Assist in recapping and analyzing sales weekly as well as forecasting sales monthly 
  • Maintain promotional schedules and calendars 
  • Management of ad hoc projects and initiatives

Manage emerging retail channels (e.g., independent accounts, distributors, international) 

  • Vet new opportunities with VP, Sales & Planning
  • Develop sales & promotional strategy & assist in management of margin
  • Lead business development strategy inclusive of competitive analysis and pricing strategies
  • Build sales presentations and assist in assortment recommendations for new partners
  • Manage internal communications with marketing teams to develop marketing launch strategies and with logistics & product development teams to ensure on-time launch
  • Recap sales weekly and forecast sales monthly

Work cross functionally with supply chain, marketing, finance and product innovation

  • Manage communication with marketing on initiatives and investment requests to drive sales
  • Communicate sales requests to product development & track accordingly
  • Manage communication with supply chain on PO management to problem solve and communicate with retailers on any issues or changes
  • Contribute to an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality and continuous improvement


  • Must be based in NYC
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5+ years experience in sales account management
  • Ability to thrive and perform in a fast-paced startup team environment 
  • Exceptional verbal & written communication skills; highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Passionate about the health and wellness industry
