In 1999 Vanessa von Bismarck and Carrie Ellen Phillips met at a top New York public relations agency and finding their jobs lacking fulfillment, began discussing their ideas for the ideal place to work. What if there was an agency that acted as a partner for each of their clients, seeking out opportunities that went far beyond the confines of publicity? What if marketing, branding, public relations, media buying and brand strategy all found an effective home under one roof? What if a stable of clients were chosen on the merit of their product rather than their potential for revenue? What if an agency employed and trained brilliant, energetic executives instead of "pr girls". After months of soul searching, Bismarck Phillips Communications and Media was conceived.
Since its inception Bismarck Phillips has proven its ability to grow brands from relative obscurity to become leaders in the fashion and luxury markets. We believe in a unique style of brand building that encompasses press strategy, sales relationships, regional outreach, brand ambassadors and international growth to help meet and exceed our clients' goals. Through PR we strive to create ways to elevate our brands above the competition. But PR alone is not enough. Our ultimate goal is to work as one force together with each brand's sales, marketing and design teams in order to create a better product with exceptional market results.
Over the years our menu of services have increased yet we have never strayed from our core mission. Synergy created by Bismarck Phillips's European/American principals allows us to take a European message and translate it to the American market and vice versa. We have unique International networking capabilities that bolster our clients both domestically and abroad. If there is ever a service that we cannot provide for a client in-house, we have partner agencies across the globe specializing in everything from design and merchandising to sales and press relations. Our network of international partners spans the globe and encompasses international expansion destinations like Japan, Korea, China, Russia, Latin America, Europe and Australia.
