The founders of Le Métier de Beauté have worked in the beauty and fashion industry collectively for more than 40 years. Backstage at runway shows and photo shoots, they noticed top makeup artists using an unmarked, unbranded black pot of makeup – and raving about it.
Curious about this anonymous creation, the founders researched and tracked the product back to its origin – a small, independent lab with an ingenious chemist who took meticulous care, paid extraordinary attention to detail and spared no expense to craft this and many more superior emulsions.
This revelation led the team to discover hundreds of specialists around the globe who set the bar for product excellence particularly high. Le Métier de Beauté founders methodically culled the field down to create a team comprised of more than 20 of the most talented chemists. Working side by side with this team, the founders brought together the best and most innovative ingredients, technologies, manufacturing and packaging to create the brand.
