Julie Macklowe is an American beauty entrepreneur, investor, former hedge fund manager, philanthropist, wife, mother and socialite living in New York City. She is the founder, CEO and spokesperson of vbeauté; a luxurious skincare line that offers affordable Swiss botanical anti-age skincare to all women regardless of their skin type.
Never quite satisfied with the products she was using, Julie kept searching for more effective skincare that would be safe for her sensitive skin. The inspiration for vbeauté came when she broke out in a severe rash from an expensive hydrating face cream, purchased when her own toiletries were confiscated by airport security in France.
After partnering with one of Switzerland’s leading skincare research labs (CRB), Macklowe developed a line of powerful, bio-botanical age-delaying products, infused with her revolutionary vComplex.
In 2014, Julie launched a partnership with Home Shopping Network (HSN) to sell vbeauté exclusively on HSN along with a few select boutiques.
After its first year on HSN, vbeauté has become one of the fastest growing beauty brands on television, selling a range of potent botanical age-fighting products as part of Julie’s simple yet effective approach to skin care.
Among numerous awards and industry acknowledgements, Julie’s most recent triumph was winning Fashion Group International’s Rising Star Award for Beauty.
